“Hey wait a minute,” you might be thinking.
“That’s not one of the 2 outfit rotation you always wear on Sundays…”
I know. I’m cheating. Sort of.
This *is* what I wore on Sunday, but I went to Mass on Saturday with Elle. So this picture is a little cheaty.
We took pictures with my extended family today. I love *having* family pictures, but I hate *taking* pictures.
No one died. That’s about as good as it gets when taking pictures with Moe.
At one point he was lifting up his shirt and showing his round three-year-old belly to the world.
Then he did moose antlers on himself.
Then he looked around everywhere except at the camera.
Oh, Lordy. Bless our photographer and all the photographers who try to capture wily kids on camera.

I love green and blue together, it’s so fresh.

Me too! I’ve figured out I like bright, cheerful colors best.

I love your Dress Barn sweater (shrug?)–I have several just like it and wear them all the time. And the lace dress is adorable. I’ve always liked the layered look.
Also, I love that gallery wall in the background!

Thanks Laura! 🙂

Oh gosh, our extended family pictures always end up with somebody picking their nose, somebody looking away from the camera, and everybody either laughing or crying by the end 😛

Glad to know we’re not alone. 🙂

Photographers are very special kinds of people. It’s impossible to get a little kid looking AND smiling at the camera!

Ooh, the trifecta – looking, smiling, AND eyes open. That’s a rare miracle in photography. 🙂

I love your outfit! Looks so summery! And I understand the battles of taking pictures with kids. One or both of mine is normally making a weird face (on purpose) or moving and looks like a blur!

Thanks! I love looking back at the weird face pictures, even though at the time they can be irritating. 🙂
