Cee has been tolerating her Ensure off and on lately. We try to have it available as much as possible to encourage her to take a sip here and there. Every calorie and vitamin counts! Unfortunately, Elle has taken to sneaking sips of Cee’s “chocolate milk.” It doesn’t matter that we give Elle her own regular chocolate milk. She likes to drink hers and then Cee’s, too. (I’m not sure why, the stuff smells awful!)
Yesterday, the tables turned. I was on the phone as the girls were eating some “hot diggity dogs.” As I stepped out of the room, Cee came barreling into where I was, looking distressed. “Elle’s shmacing me!” she said, mouth full. I put two and two together. She had stolen some of Elle’s hot dog and Elle was chasing her. Cee was upset for nothing, though. When I got to the dining room, Elle was still sitting at the table. She must have been too full of Ensure to care about the missing hot dog.
